With a range of stakeholders this group has fantastic potential to reduce skills gaps across the Southwest and provide entry routes into green careers and training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most recent meeting, held 1 February at Exeter Future Skills Centre, had an exciting agenda about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>GCAP\u2019s current achievements to date \u2013 Presented by Exeter College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water conservation \u2013 Presented by Bruce Priday, Director of SMARTi Environmental<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Future training around retrofit \u2013 Presented by Simon Ayres, CEO of Trustmark<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The development and future of green skills \u2013 Presented by Graham Hasting-Evans, CEO of NOCN<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An update on the work of the Solar Task force \u2013 Presented by Mark Wakeford, Chairman of Evo Energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case Studies on external wall insulation \u2013 Nick Miles, Director of commerce and product innovation of EWIPro Render Solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For further information about GCAP visit <a href=\"https:\/\/fscexeter.com\/green-skills-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">their website<\/a> to view the current training courses they have on offer.
