An added benefit of progressing this section first is the route\u2019s visibility; it could act as a showcase cycle route to attract further funding.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed design is being drawn up for the next section of the route between Pinhoe Road, Exhibition Way, Eastern Fields and St Katherine\u2019s way. Proposals include building a cycle and pedestrian bridge adjacent to the railway line, crossing Summer Lane.
