Decision to award the contract for CP1523-17 Corporate Eyecare Vouchers following a direct call off from Lot 4 of the Crown Commercial Services framework, Occupational Health Services, Employee Assistance Programmes and Eye care Services (RM3795).

Decision Taken:

To award a contract (Subject to due diligence) to the below organisation(s) for the provision of the above contract. The contract will commence on 11th June 2018, for the period of 2 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis that this option was the most economically advantageous. The framework agreement provided the authority with continued savings on the cost per voucher, along with the time and costs involved in tendering the opportunity.

An options appraisal was carried out with the following options considered:
• Retender for a new contract
• Extend the current contract
• Let the contract expire
• Direct award from the CCS framework
• Further competition from the CCS framework
• Award under another framework or partner an existing contract
