Decision to award the contract for pre-paid cards (contract reference SURREY16) following a direct award from the Surrey County Council framework agreement for pre paid card accounts and associated services.

Decision Taken:

To award a contract to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract. The contract will commence on 1st December 2016 for the period of 24 months.

An options appraisal was carried out with the following options considered:

  • Conduct an OJEU compliant tender process
  • Carry out a mini-competition from the Surrey County Council framework agreement
  • Direct award from the Surrey County Council framework agreement
  • Allow contract to expire with no replacement put in place
