Support for organisations & communities in Devon

COVID-19 Outbreak Management Grant (Self-Isolation)
Grants are now available to voluntary and community groups/organisations and social enterprises that help people by providing practical, social, and emotional support when they have to self-isolate due to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Outbreak Management Grant Fund
Grant funding for not-for-profit organisations to increase the support for people in Devon over the coming winter months in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID-19 Vaccination Outreach Fund
To improve uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine by engaging with groups and communities in Devon where uptake of the vaccine is low

East Devon Coronavirus Community Food Fund
Grants between £500 and £2,500 for projects related to providing food to residents of east Devon who are in food poverty during Covid-19.

East Devon District Council: Innovation & Resilience Fund
Grants for businesses in East Devon to invest in transformational and innovative projects to support economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Apply by 18 February 2022

Household Support Grants
Grants up to £10,000 to organisations working in the Devon County Council administered areas of Devon, to alleviate food and fuel insecurity in the coming months.

Locality budgets

Each of our county councillors has an annual locality budget fund of £10,000 that they can use to respond to local needs within any financial year (April to March). Councillors can, if they wish, make grants to support projects or activities that benefit the communities they represent.

A £2 billion fund to create 6-month work placements aimed at those aged 16 to 24 who are on Universal Credit and are deemed to be at risk of long-term unemployment

Emergency funding for charities and voluntary organisations facing acute financial difficulties or providing support for people and communities affected by COVID-19.

Norman Trust COVID Fund
Grants for non-profit organisations in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset that have been adversely affected by the COVID pandemic. Apply by 10 December 2021

Swire Charitable Trust: COVID-19 Recovery Programme
For charities providing a critical response to the crisis – working in disadvantaged areas to support vulnerable people

COVID-19 vaccination outreach fund (The Integrated Care System for Devon)
Can you help increase the vaccine uptake amongst vulnerable communities? Funding is available for the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector to run outreach events.

Household Support Fund
Families on low incomes can get help with food and utility costs this winter via the UK government’s new Household Support Fund. Local district and unitary councils in Devon are administering the fund – you can find their contact details and more information about the fund.

Grants for schools

Technology support for children and young people
Local authorities, academy trusts and schools can apply for digital devices for disadvantaged children in certain year groups who are affected by disruption to face-to-face education at their school, or have been advised to shield because they are clinically extremely vulnerable.

Professional authors who are resident in the UK or British subjects – including all types of writers, illustrators, literary translators, scriptwriters, poets, journalists and others.

National Heritage Memorial Fund: COVID-19 Response Fund
Grants to support nationally important heritage assets that are at risk due to the impact of COVID-19

Support for Theatre Professionals during Coronavirus
A collection of funds and sources of advice or support for those in the theatre industry. Funds are available from institution specific funders and from those that support the wider industry.

Sport England: Return to Play
Small grants to help sports clubs and organisations to put in place measures to help people take part in sports and physical activities in a coronavirus-safe way
