The following principles should apply to the support you receive as you move into adult life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department for Health has produced an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/assets.nhs.uk\/prod\/documents\/MH-CoP-Equal-Treatment.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\">easy-read fact sheet about the Equality Act<\/a>&nbsp;and what it means for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you aren\u2019t well it can sometimes be left to other people to make decisions for you.
