governance routes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Place Called Home Programme Board\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The A Place Called homes programme is made up of five workstreams as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Achieving Permanence \u2013 Project deliverables are concerned with actions required to promote stability, enabling children and young people to live in long term homes that meet their care and support needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children&#8217;s Home Development and Staying Close \u2013 Project deliverables enables the local authority to build homes for children and young people that are managed by the local authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fostering Recruitment and Retention \u2013 Project deliverables are concerned with increasing the number and capabilities of our foster carers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finding Homes for Children \u2013 Project deliverables will improve the way in which the local authority search and secure homes, care and support for children in care and care experienced young people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provider sufficiency \u2013 Project deliverables are concerned with increasing the availability (and in some areas the number) of homes for children in care and care experienced young people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Care for Me Corporate Parenting Subgroup\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Care for Me is a subgroup of the Devon Corporate Parenting Board.&nbsp; &nbsp;It is concerned with the housing, care and support needs of children in care and care experienced young people in Devon.&nbsp; The action plan for this group covers 5 broad areas as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Data &#8211; Understanding the current and future need and ensuring gaps are identified and illustrated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster care Sufficiency &#8211; Improving access to and the quality of foster care in Devon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residential children&#8217;s home sufficiency &#8211; Ensuring sufficient supply of quality homes for children in Devon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing policy interpretation &#8211; Ensuring clear protocols and guidance are in place and that partners work together to offer support according to need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System redesign &#8211; Review and redesign the support and accommodation available to homeless 16- and 17-year-olds and care experienced young
