This could include your interests, your aspirations and what makes you happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some questions you can ask yourself to check if the approach to your care has been person-centred:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have you been prepared to participate in the meeting, planning or review?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you know what \u2018the point\u2019 of the meeting is?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you know and can you express when things are going well and when they are not?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have your communication needs been addressed?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have you been asked what your views are?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you feel your views have been heard and recorded?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you feel that the review\/plan\/assessment is reflective of your whole life?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If people are helping you to make certain decisions, do they understand what is important to you?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting your own goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you aren&#8217;t sure about what you want to do yet, you could start off by asking yourself the following questions about your interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What do want to achieve with your life?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Would you like to go to college? Further education? Would you like a job?
