{"id":12820,"date":"2022-02-16T17:28:31","date_gmt":"2022-02-16T17:28:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/educationandfamilies\/?page_id=12820"},"modified":"2026-04-09T14:20:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T13:20:14","slug":"self-weigh","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/children-families-education\/child-family-support\/health\/self-weigh\/","title":{"rendered":"Self-weigh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Devon Public Health Nursing is working in partnership with Libraries Unlimited to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/healthforunder5s.co.uk\/devon\/services\/specialist-support\/self-weigh\/\" rel=\"noopener\">self-weigh facilities<\/a> in many libraries across Devon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The libraries and other selected locations working within this partnership have been equipped with scales provided by the Devon Public Health Nursing Team. These scales are calibrated every six months &#8211; this ensures the scales remain accurate and are safe to weigh your baby on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note this is a parent-led facility and library staff are not involved in weighing babies or children.
