Apprenticeships: an alternative route

Too often thought of as a poor alternative to university, apprenticeships are becoming the route of choice for many young people who don’t wish to accumulate thousands of pounds worth of debt and who wish to get straight into a working environment.

It may be a sensible choice. New research out this month, shows that many thousands of university graduates are earning less than school leavers taking apprenticeships.
