Devon County Council does not collect, collate or hold information in relation to the above. The Council is not a housing authority with housing duties and does not have a role in assessing or responding to the housing needs of individuals. We do not, therefore, hold records relating to people with Health conditions on Housing authority waiting lists. You may wish to re-direct your request to District and Unitary councils in Devon who have responsibility for housing.
The Council does not have the ability to make social care placements into hospitals. As far as we are aware, admission to hospital is determined by local health practitioners on the basis of health related conditions. You may wish to contact the NHS direct for further information in this regard.
