How many fire alarms went off at County Hall during the last calendar year from the date of this request and how much did the council pay to the fire service in relation to this.
We have interpreted this to mean how many times did fire alarms sound – County Hall has a number of fire alarms in different buildings.
Since 1st December 2018, and not including our planned / regular tests we have had 2 unplanned fire evacuations as a result of fire alarms sounding.
The Devon and Somerset Fire Service did not attend the County Hall campus during this time for any fire alarm activations, planned or otherwise and the council has not paid them any money in the time period.
