Iverna Care

A Copy of the contract between Devon County Council and Iverna Care.

I am however more interested in seeing reference to the following:

1. Breaches of Contract rules.
2. Termination clauses
3. References to assignment details.

Devon County Council does not have a contract directly with Iverna Care. However we hold a contract and supporting documents for Iverna Central.

Some information has been redacted.  This detail has been removed as we consider it to be exempt under Section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Commercial Interests.  Devon County Council considers releasing the costs of any prices would likely prejudice the commercial interests of any competitors and this would give an unfair advantage.

We have considered the public interest in this case and we acknowledge that there is a public interest in the transparency around public spending, however, we also consider that there is a public interest in allowing businesses to apply for contracts in a competitive environment, and we therefore, consider that the public interest lies in withholding the information.

In addition a few documents contains information identifying members of the public and has therefore been redacted.  Disclosure of this information would have been a breach of the first data protection principle and is therefore exempt pursuant to s.40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
