The above Task Order issued by our Consultant Engineers (Jacobs) on behalf of Devon County Council’s Highway’s Authority to our Term Maintenance Contractor (Skanska) is for footway maintenance works to alleviate a considerable amount of reported loose slabs and trip hazards. Works comprise of re-laying the existing slab/flags, extending sizes of planter beds and planting low maintenance soft landscaping. The Task Order is currently with the Contractor at an instructed value of £15,388.48 and to date no interim or final payment has been submitted by our Term Maintenance Contractor (Skanska). The works are still on-going and are likely to be delayed as a result of the recent wet weather conditions. We do not, therefore, hold details of the final cost.
