Early Years and Childcare Service
Devon County Council Early Years and Childcare Service supports the expansion and improvement of services for children across Devon.
There has been a great deal of development in these services in recent years and with the advent of the Childcare Act 2006 this rate of development will continue.
If you are a Parent or Carer, work with (or would like to work with) children, provide (or would like to provide) a service for children – or if you are under 16 – this site will be of interest to you.
We need your help to find out about childcare in your area
In February and March 2010, a company called Morgan's Research will telephone parents across Devon on behalf of Devon County Council to find out their childcare needs.
We need to know:
- what childcare parents want?
- when parents need childcare?
- do parents have specialist requirements?
- where are the gaps in childcare?
