Y-Smart Young People's Drug and Alcohol Service For Under 18's
Y-Smart Young Peoples Drug and Alcohol Service for under 18's is Devon County Council's Specialist Service, and provides confidential advice, support, assessment and treatment for young people under 18 living across Devon who have difficulties with drug, alcohol or volatile substance use. The service is free and accepts referrals from professionals, parents, carers and young people.
The service supports young people who are affected by parental drug or alcohol use, providing them with the time, space and opportunity to discuss how this impacts on their lives. The service also provides targetted education to vulnerable groups of young people within a range of settings. The service offers support to parents and carers who may have concerns about their child's substance use. The service also provides training to professionals in substance misuse and young people.
