Scrutiny
Which Scrutiny Committee?
The County Council has appointed four Scrutiny Committees, as shown below, which are committed to making their work as open and transparent as they can. These Committees involve 45 of the 62 county councillors as well as co-opted members representing Diocesan (Church) authorities and school governors: The Chairman of the Council, the Leader of the Council and Members of the Cabinet cannot be members of a Scrutiny Committee.
