Where to Walk and Ride in Devon

To find out about where to walk and ride in Devon, either -

  • click on the routes below,
  • use the clickable map of Devon (N.B Details on the Macmillan Way West and Devonshire Heartland Way can not be viewed using the map, see the route below),
  • use the interactive map (approximately 1 minute to download). Once the map is loaded you can obtain information on any path by clicking on a route and following the instructions displayed underneath the map.  To help you plan your route you can now see if there are any stiles, gates or bridges on the paths and also how steep or level a route is. Use the layer and legend buttons to the right of the image when you have clicked on the interactive map. This information has been produced with support from the Countryside Agency as part of the County Council’s Rights of Way Improvement Plan Implementation.   (Please note that Information for Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks is in development)
  • visit the cycling pages

The Countryside Stewardship Scheme provides information about other access opportunities in Devon.
