VAT and Taxation Advice
A specialist team exists which supports staff within the various directorates of Devon County Council in dealing with VAT and all other aspects of taxation.
We aim to support staff with compliance and tax planning matters so as to maximise the use of finances and to minimise the risk of penalties, negotiating with the Revenue agencies where necessary.
We provide guidance and assistance on specific projects but also on day to day queries. We maintain what are probably the most comprehensive and user friendly set of VAT guidance manuals available to local authority establishments within the UK.
