Travel Awareness

TravelWise is a national campaign which encourages people to think before they travel and suggests that they don't always need to use a car.

Car traffic continues to increase and our roads become more congested. Road space cannot be increased to meet this demand. More traffic jams mean more pollution from exhaust fumes. Poor air quality affects health. Traffic congestion costs British business billions.

The way we choose to travel can have a serious affect on the environment, the economy, our health and our quality of life.
