Hold cycle training courses
Identify safe routes for cycling
Work with the Road Safety Officer to develop safe cycling routes and cycle ways, traffic calming and off-road routes
Provide secure cycle storage - financial help with this may be available if needed
Promote safe cycling to school through events and publicity
Have a Bikers' Breakfast
Provide showers and changing facilities and lockers
Have a 'safety first' cycle helmet campaign
Hold a ' bike bits swap-shop' and a 'Bike Clinic 'with your local cycle store
Have a bike stunt display team to highlight cycling as a leisure activity
Hold a sports and cycling fashion show
Link with your local doctor's surgery/Primary Care Trust or hospital to promote healthy ways to get to school
Have poster and leaflet campaigns and create a cycling culture in your school
