Road Maintenance

Devon County Council is the highway authority and responsible for the repair and maintenance of most public roads in Devon. The Highways Agency looks after the motorway and trunk routes and the Torbay and Plymouth Councils are responsible for the roads in their respective areas.

Area Highway Management Offices
Your Area Highway Management Office will be able to assist you with queries regarding road and pavement maintenance, hedge, tree and verge cutting, skips and scaffolding licences, applications for pedestrian crossings and other traffic calming measures.  Please select your Highway Management Office from the clickable map for contact information
