Provider Engagement Network

Managing the Social Care Market Together

What's in it for Providers? Most social care services such as care home and home care agencies are delivered by independent providers.  Devon County Council is committed to working with these providers to help manage the social care market, whether or not we contract with them.

In order to do this effectively, in response to the views expressed by providers, we have set up the Provider Engagement Network where Adult & Community Services regularly meet independent sector partners to discuss relevant issues, such as contracting arrangements and demographic trends.

Our first meetings take place in:

  • East, Mid and Exeter Locality - Friday 5th December 2008, 9.30 - 1.00 at the Gypsy Hill Hotel in Exeter
  • North Locality - Tuesday 9th December 2008, 9.30 - 1.00 at Clinton Hall, Merton, Okehampton
  • South and West Locality - Monday 15th December 2008, 9.30 - 1.00 at Buckfast Abbey, Buckfastleigh
  • Countywide Group - Wednesday 28th January 2009, 9.30 - 1.00, venue to be confirmed
