Young Carers

A young carer is under 18 years of age. They help look after a parent, brother, sister or another relative or friend who due to their disability, frailty, illness or vulnerability cannot care for themselves without help.

The Devon Young Carers website has been developed with the help of young carers. It contains helpful information as well as fun and games.

What's new?

We do. If you're caring for somebody - a partner, a parent, a relative, even a close friend - you are a carer. Click the banner above to find out about the practical ways we can help.
