Where can I buy equipment for myself?

Some people may prefer to purchase items of equipment for themselves. Your local Social Services Office will be able to provide you with lists of shops or showrooms that sell equipment for people with disabilities in your area, though obviously we are not allowed to recommend any in particular.

You can find a list for yourself using the database of Devon Health and Social Care resources at www.devonline.gov.uk/community  Just use the drop down box and select Health, well-being and care > Disability > Equipment for disabled people. You can then filter the results to the area you live
