Where could you be working

Work Experience

Devon County Council recognises that work experience is an essential way for people to develop their skills and improve their employability for their present/future career.

Due to the high level of interest, regrettably we are unable to offer any additional work experience placements for the remainder of this year.

If you are interested in a temporary work experience placement after 2014, please complete the Work Experience Request Form and return to HR Performance Development (contact details below). We will start processing these requests from October 2014.

When completing the form please be realistic with your expectations. There may be some departments that are unable to offer a placement.

Due to the large number of requests we are only able to accommodate placements for up to 10 days.

Your work experience request will be sent to the work experience service representative for the service area you are interested in and they will then contact the relevant departments. You will hear direct from the service area as to whether they are able to offer you a placement.

If your placement is accepted, the manager will co-ordinate a work experience programme for you and will confirm location and time for your placement.

If you are a DCC member of staff please visit the Work Experience Page (please note if you are not a DCC member of staff this link will not work).

Thank you for your interest in work experience at Devon County Council.
