Waste

Christmas Waste

Has your waste expanded over Christmas?

If so, here’s some ways to see in a green new year:

  • Recycle your cards and help the Woodland Trust to create new woodland. Recycling bins will be available throughout January in all WHSmith, T K Maxx and Marks & Spencer high street stores across Devon, or alternatively send your cards to Waste Management, County Hall via courier
  • Donate unwanted presents to a charity shop
  • Take your Christmas tree to a Recycling Centre for shredding and composting
  • See the Devon Love Food Hate Waste page for ideas on what to do with leftovers
  • Make a new year's resolution - recycle more stuff, more often!

For more information on how and where to recycle, visit www.recycledevon.org or call 0845 450 2477
