How to submit an Online Application for the County Council's Own Development
The County Council is responsible for issuing planning permissions for its own developments.
To submit an online planning application for a County Council Development, you should complete our Online Planning Application Form by following the link below:
When you make an online planning application, you will be asked to submit additional information. This may either be attached to your electronic application, or supplied separately by post.
Payments may be made online - please refer to our Guidance on Planning Fees by following the link below. Alternatively, you may prefer to send a cheque, made payable to Devon County Council, with a covering letter to the address shown at the bottom of this page.

If your proposal would alter, extend or demolish all or part of a listed building, you should contact the Development Management Section at an early stage to see if Listed Building Consent is needed. If consent is required, you will need to submit an Application for Listed Building Consent (Form LB1). A copy of the form, together with Guidance Notes for its completion, may be viewed or downloaded by following the links below.
Similarly, if you wish to demolish all or part of a non-listed building or structure within a Conservation Area, you should contact the Development Management Section at an early stage to establish whether Conservation Area Consent is needed. If consent is required, you will need to submit an Application for Conservation Area Consent. A copy of the form may be viewed or downloaded by following the links below:
