How to submit an Online Planning Application for a Minerals or Waste Development
As Minerals and Waste Planning Authority, Devon County Council is responsible for deciding all planning applications for minerals or waste related development. For all other types of development you should go to the District, Borough, City or Unitary Authority or, where appropriate, to Dartmoor or Exmoor National Park Authority.
To submit an online planning application to the County Council you should complete one of our online Planning Application Forms for a minerals or waste related development by following the links below:

When you make an online planning application, you will be asked to submit additional information. This may either be attached to your electronic application, or supplied separately by post. Should you require any advice regarding the information required, please contact one of our Planning Officers via the address and telephone number shown at the bottom of this page.
Payments may be made online - please refer to our Guidance on Planning Fees by following the link below. Alternatively, you may prefer to send a cheque, made payable to Devon County Council, with a covering letter to the address shown at the bottom of the page.
