Local Public Service Agreement (LPSA)

Local Public Service Agreements provide individual authorities with the opportunity to sign up to challenging targets to deliver key national and local priorities in return for operational flexibilities and incentives, with rewards for success. Local PSAs build on the foundation provided by best value and help to encourage innovation and commitment to better performance.

Devon County Council has been involved in the first round of LPSAs (LPSA1) for the period April 2002 - March 2005.  A second round (LPSA2) will operate over the period April 2005 - March 2008.
