Title: The Thrill of the Chase

Description: Author Chris Stephens will describe the pleasures and pitfalls of creating non-fiction texts, for the popular publications market, from initial contract to completion and launch. Chris is a successful author, now living in Kingsbridge. He has had almost 20 books published, including social history books for children, a Christmas anthology, books on Welsh traditions, castles and even saints and sinners!
Audience:Everyone welcome
Cost:Free entry and refreshments

Title: Kingsbridge Library Reading Group
Date:Once a month on a Thursday afternoon
Time: 13:30 - 15:00
Description: Do you enjoy reading? Are you interested in discovering new authors, meeting with other people in an informal setting to talk about books you have read? If so come along and join our reading group.
Audience:Everyone welcome
Cost:Free

Title: Bounce and Rhyme
Date:Every Friday during term time
Time: 11:00 - 11:30
Description: Babies, toddlers and their carers are welcome to come and enjoy nursery rhymes and action songs together and perhaps learn some new ones! Come along and collect a free nursery rhyme card and borrow a book.
Audience:Under 5s (with parents/carers)
Cost:Free

Title: The Library Stitchers
Date:Fortnightly on a Tuesday, starting on 9th October 2012
Time: 18.00 - 20.00
Description: A friendly, sociable group for anyone interested in quilting, knitting, cross stitch etc. Drop by, bring a project and join in!
Audience:Open to all
Cost:Free. Small charge for refreshments
Bookings: No need to book, just come along.

Date:Last Thursday of the month, starting on 28th March 2013

Description: "Singing for Joy" is a fun, stimulating and social activity.
Audience:For people in the early to moderate stage of dementia, and their carers
