Our reading group was launched in October 2006 and we currently have about 8 - 10 people attending each meeting. We read one book a month and all members read the same book, then we have lively and interesting discussions the following month, members do not have to participate, they are welcome to listen. It is a chance to broaden your reading tastes and to be introduced to authors you have never read, without feeling guilty if you do not finish the book or even like it! Each meeting lasts approximately an hour and we are a friendly, relaxed group who welcome new members to join us for a chat and cup of tea.
