MARAC

Devon has four MARACs (multi-agency risk assessment conferences) which operate monthly. Exeter, East/Mid Devon; North Devon/Torridge; and South Devon (South Hams, Teignbridge and West).

MARAC DASH risk-assessment

The police are introducing the DASH risk-assessment, force-wide, from 18st January 2010. This introduces a more rigorous approach to assessing risk both at the scene of the incident and subsequently by the Public Protection Unit.

Adva will be using the CAADA-DASH risk-assessment in its training from January 2010.
