LAA and Public Service Agreement Targets

The integration of adva’s domestic violence and abuse work into Devon County Councils’ Local Public Sector Agreements has provided both pump-priming and reward monies which have been ploughed back into the commissioning of specialist support services.

Devon County Council has had two public service agreement targets since 2001. Performance against target is detailed below.

Adva’s 2008-2011 Local Area Agreement Priority is to reduce the social, emotional and cost impacts on victims and the wider society by tackling domestic violence and abuse (LAA 36).

Devon’s NI 32 national indicator target is to reduce repeat victimisation of domestic violence from 31% to 25% from 1st April 2009 – end March 2010.
