Coaver Club

Coaver Club first opened in 1964 and has since constantly striven to improve the facilities for its members - present, former and retired members of staff (and their families) of Devon County Council, associated bodies and local residents.

It strives to support healthier lifestyle initiatives with a range of sports, fitness, social & recreational activities.

Recent developments have enhanced the facilities on offer, at the same time ensuring efficient use of those facilities. This has seen the introduction of a new Conference Suite and numerous meeting rooms. This is intended to relieve the burden on the County Hall campus, whilst also generating significant efficiency savings for the authority.

Facilities include;

  • Licensed Bar, Coffee bar,
  • Restaurant
  • Patio area
  • TV Lounge(s)
  • Lawn sports (Volleyball, Cricket, Rounders)
  • Pool and Games Room (skittles)
  • Table Tennis room
  • Gymnasium
  • Regular programme of music and entertainment
  • Annual Summer Ball, New Years Eve Party, etc
