In 1999 a County sports strategy  was published called “The Future of Sport in Devon”

In 2004 Devon County Council is working with lots of other partners to review the Strategy to update it and revisit the priorities for sport in the County.

Initial consultation started in February 2004 with a wide range of key individuals and organisations invited to a workshop to identify key themes for the Strategy and to ensure the planning process will be as inclusive as possible.

The Strategy steering group are keen to hear from anyone with any views on the future of sport in Devon. Please contact Jill Borrow with your comments or if you would like to get more involved in the ongoing development of the strategy.
