Trading Standards warn of counterfeit vodka

DEVON'S Trading Standards Service has issued a warning to consumers and businesses concerning a contaminated batch of counterfeit 'SPAR Imperial Vodka', discovered in Northumberland and London. The advice is to avoid the bottles, which are easily identifiable, however tempting the cost of the product appears to be. [other news...]

In April 2006 Social Services was re-organised.   Social care for adults comes under the 'Adult & Community Services Directorate', along with adult education services.   Children's social care is now part of the 'Children & Young People's Services Directorate', along with the Local Education Authority functions.
