The Service Desk is your first point of contact for all your Scomis enquiries including visit requests, course bookings and software or hardware queries. Where possible the Service Desk Analyst that answers your call will endeavour to resolve your query.

Logging a call ONLINE

If the Analyst that you speak to cannot answer your enquiry then they will log it, with as much detail as possible, so that another analyst will be able to investigate and call you back. You will be given a case reference to keep that will enable you to keep track of your enquiry.

When Are We Available?

During term time the Service Desk is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 5pm on Friday. During school holidays we are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Service Desk will close for Bank Holidays.

Outside of these hours we have an answer phone for you to leave a message and an analyst will log your enquiry when the Service Desk reopens. If you call during the opening hours and all our Service Desk Analysts are busy you will be held in a queue until an analyst is available. If after 30 seconds an analyst is still not available you will be asked to leave a message. If you do not wish to leave a message then please hang up and call back later. We constantly monitor our answer phone so if you do leave a message your enquiry will be logged.

Who Are We?

There are a full team of Service Desk Analysts waiting to answer your questions.

Service Desk Analyst’s knowledge is updated through training and weekly insets.

We aim subject specific insets to coincide with routines that you run in school such as Key Stage return and school census.

The Service Desk will keep the websites frequently asked questions up to date and will add news items that may be of interest to you.
