Provider Engagement Network
Managing the Social Care Market Together
What's in it for Providers? Most social care services such as care homes and home care agencies are delivered by independent providers. Devon County Council is committed to working with these providers to help manage the social care market, whether or not we contract with them.
In order to do this effectively, in response to the views expressed by providers, we have set up the Provider Engagement Network where Adult & Community Services regularly meet independent sector partners to discuss relevant issues, such as contracting arrangements and demographic trends. Quarterly forums are jointly led by an Assistant Director from Devon County Council and an elected provider representative. Relevant officers from the local authority and all Social Care Providers, private, voluntary and independent are welcome to attend the forums...
