How to make a Planning Application for a Waste Management Development

To Submit an Online Planning Application for a Waste Management Development

From 6 April 2008, all planning applications for waste related development must be submitted on 1APP Standard Application Forms.  If you wish to make your application “Online”, the form can be submitted via the Planning Portal, who will forward it to the appropriate planning authority for a decision.

For your application to be accepted as valid, you must provide some additional information. The material that you will be required to submit is summarised in the document accessed below:

Guidance has been prepared to provide advice to Applicants about what supporting information should be provided to submit a valid planning application.

To complete your online planning application, please follow the link below to the Planning Portal. Please note that you will need to register as a Professional User on their website before you can use this service. Your application will be redirected to the County Council at Step 2 of the process when you select "Begin a Waste or Regulation 3 application here".

When you have completed the online form, you will be given the opportunity to calculate the planning fee due. Your planning application cannot be validated until you have paid the appropriate fee. Further details about planning fees can be found by following the link below.  Please forward a cheque, made payable to Devon County Council, with a covering letter to the address shown at the bottom of this page.
