At its meeting on 9 March 2011, the Cabinet considered the above report along with The Cabinet responses proposed by officers to a number of technical questions raised in the Consultation Document. The Cabinet noted and endorsed the Task Group s Report and the comments on technical matters as the basis of the County Council s formal response, to be prepared by the Executive Director of Environment, Economy Culture for approved by the Leader and the Cabinet Member for Highways Transportation.

(d) Training and Development Needs for Scrutiny

In consultation with the Scrutiny Chairs Vice-Chairs, the Member Development Officer has arranged a training session for all members on the morning of 5 April 2011. This will cover chairing and meeting skills and details are being circulated to members direct.
