Devon Pension Services administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for scheme employers in Devon. The employers who belong to the scheme cover a broad spectrum of local government employment; from District and Unitary councils, to smaller Parish councils, Further Education establishments and local service industries. We also administer the pension scheme for employees of Devon & Cornwall Police Authority. Please consult our Employing Bodies page for a more comprehensive listing.

What's new?
Budget 2009 - April 2009
For pension purposes, the 2009 Budget does not affect the majority of contributors to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) but it has introduced some changes to income tax for higher earners; including an announcement on the restriction of tax relief on all pension contributions from 6 April 2011 if you earn more than £150,000 p.a.
