Extract from Devon by W.G.Hoskins (1954), included by kind permission of the copyright holder:

LITTLEHAM lies in pleasant, wooded, and hilly country S. of Bideford. It has little of interest except the 15th century church (St. Swithin). The original rood-screen was removed long ago, and the present screen and rood- loft are modern, designed by Mr. Temple Moore of London, who followed the general arrangement and style of those at Patricio in Monmouthshire. He also designed the striking tomb with alabaster effigy of General Crealock (1891). The original bench-ends (late Henry VIII) have been incorporated with the new seating. They are of a most interesting Renaissance type with grotesque heads, dolphins, etc., carved with great delicacy and imagination. '}'here is some excellent stained glass by Kempe.
