Devon and Cornwall Record Society : a shelf-list of the collections

The collections of the Devon and Cornwall Record Society are deposited in the Westcountry Studies Library, Castle Street, Exeter EX4 3PQ for the use of members only. Membership of the Society may be taken out in the Library. Temporary membership, lasting three months costs £5.00 and full membership, starting on the 1st of January each year, costs £16.50. Also available is joint membership at £20.00 and professional membership at £30.00. Please note that, under the Society's regulations, searches in the collections, including the Boyd and Fursdon marriage indexes, cannot be undertaken by staff in the Westcountry Studies Library. This listing of the Society's collections is based on the work undertaken by Stephen Stride during 1986 and has been updated to take account of recent accessions. Items included in earlier lists but omitted here were not found in the shelf check conducted during the original revision of this list in 1986.
