Sabine Baring-Gould's library at Killerton : author handlist Important note: This short title listing is of surviving volumes from the library amassed by the Baring-Gould family of Lew Trenchard, notably the writer Sabine Baring-Gould. It is currently shelved in the library of the Acland family at Killerton House, Broadclyst, near Exeter. This collection is not generally available for public consultation. However accredited researchers, who cannot easily access titles elsewhere, can consult individual items on prior application to the National Trust. Applications should be made in writing to the National Trust, Killerton, Broadclyst, Exeter, EX5 3EW, stating the scope of research, the items it is wished to consult, including the accession number, and the reasons that these items cannot be consulted elsewhere. Where possible a letter of support should be enclosed. A fee will normally be charged for each visit, equivalent to at least the normal admission charge to Killerton.
