Bus Stop Parking: 70p for 2 hours £1.20 all day Stover lake was constructed in the late 1770’s and is 10 acres with a maximum depth of 2 metres. There is also an associated 4 mile Heritage Trail which forms the middle part of the Templer way. The Templer Way is a 18 mile recreational walking route from Haytor to Teignmouth which passes through the Park. It follows the old route of granite transported from Dartmoor to the coast. Bus Stop Parking: 70p for 2 hours £1.20 all day Nature Interpretation Centre: opened in 2000 by HRH the Earl of Wessex. The Arboretum was planted with a variety of trees in 1992 to commemorate the Queens 40th Anniversary of her accession to the throne. Aerial Walkway - opened in 2003 by Andrew Cooper (BBC Wildlife Film Producer). Parking: 70p for 2 hours £1.20 all day The pinetum was planted with a variety of exotic conifers in 1980 representing members of the commonwealth countries to commemorate the Queen’s Mothers 80th birthday The Templer Way is a 18 mile recreational walking route from Haytor to Teignmouth which passes through the Park. It follows the old route of granite transported from Dartmoor to the coast. Two granite boundary markers have been erected next to the inlet channel. The initials H,T,W and B, cut into the granite, are abbreviations for 'Haytor Tram Way Bounds'. A section of the 1.5 mile Carriage Drive leading to Stover House Heritage Trail starts here
