UR Devon Goes Live

In July we went to Kongamana at Bicton Arena to consult with Young People about the development of these webpages. As part of our consultation we offered a prize of an ipod shuffle for the best name.

The winning name is "UR Devon" by Chris Malinowski age 18 from Cullompton.

Chris said: "Being a teenager myself and how we communicate to each other, it  seemed to be the most logical use of the younger modern language, as used in texting and msn. That is why I chose the the first part of the name 'UR' as in yourself. The second part 'Devon' as it's home."

Nathan Grimes age 18 (Project Manager for UR Devon) explains why we chose this as our winning name: "It promotes the webpages in a professional manner as well as communicating to young people in a way that is understood and meaningful."
