ROYAL AWARD FOR DEVON COUNTRY MILE PROJECT A royal seal of approval has been given to Devon County Council’s most successful road safety campaign. The Devon Country Mile project has today (Tuesday 6 December) received the Prince Michael of Kent International Road Safety Award at a ceremony in London. BE SEEN AND BE SAFE ON DEVON'S ROADS THIS WINTER Devon County Council is raising awareness of the importance of being clearly visible on the county’s roads when the clocks go back on Sunday 30 October. Pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders are being reminded to wear reflective and fluorescent clothing as the winter nights draw in.
