A local group of residents in Donyatt, Chard and Ilminster secured funds and commissioned a statue to commemorate one of the World War II evacuees to Donyatt – Doreen the real one and her statue
The Local group commissioned 9 interpretation boards which stretch from Chard to Ilminster. These feature information about the local ecology, history of the railway line, history of the stop line and social history of the area.
