The Authority has developed a series of policy and advice notes which compliment Government policy and advice, creating some local distinctiveness in Devon. These documents are currently under review, but a link will be added here at a later date.
Most traffic management policy stems from documents produced by the Department for Transport and the Highways Agency. Some of these are statutory (Acts and Regulations), whilst others are for guidance.
